Navigating the app

Overall layout

The Coordio interface has three main zones: the left navigation panel, the central area (chat, board, pages), and the right information panel.

Left navigation panel

The left panel has tabs whose order you can change in view settings:

  • Channels — your channels and groups. Groups expand; the expand mode (recent / unread / all) is configurable.
  • Tags — channels grouped by tags; tags can be pinned and voted on.
  • Bookmarks — saved messages.
  • Files — quick access to files and local folders.

Right information panel

The right panel shows the current channel's context plus personal blocks: profile, theme & color scheme, language, wallpapers, statistics, channel actions, and notifications. Each block collapses; block visibility and accordion behavior are set under "View".

The /me hub

The /me page is your personal hub: notifications (a mirror of push notifications), feeds of your content, scheduled messages, and search with filters (emoji reactions, #hashtags).

Planner and board

  • The Planner opens from the left panel (calendar icon) — a personal calendar of tasks and events.
  • The Task board (Kanban) opens from the channel sub-header — a shared team board.

See the "Tasks & board" articles for details.

Account switching

In the profile block you can add several saved accounts and switch between them quickly. Switching accounts never clears the other account's cache.

Modals vs. dedicated pages

Many sections (settings, profile, storage, search, replies) can open either as a modal or as a dedicated page. This is configured per section under "Where to open" (Defaults).
