Using the Planner
What the Planner is
The Planner (calendar icon in the left panel) is your personal time-management view over tasks and events — the counterpart to the shared team board.
Views
Switch between Today, Week, Month, Day and List. The Today's commitments strip highlights what you planned for today.
Tasks vs. events
The New item dialog has two tabs:
- Task — title, deadline, optional channel — the same task entity used on the board.
- Event — title, start/end time, location or link — a calendar event such as a call or meeting.
Schedule it
The Schedule it action attaches a "when and where I'll do this" intention to a task and places it on your calendar — tasks with a specific time and place get done far more often. This is the bridge from the board: a card becomes a scheduled commitment without leaving the board.
Focus sessions and streak
Start a focus session (pomodoro) on a commitment — Start session → Complete. A completed session awards +5 koordy and extends your streak of active days. If a session runs over, the app prompts you to complete or cancel it.
Timeline and export
- Timeline shows tasks and events as bars across a date range (a Gantt view).
- Team Calendar switches from "My Planner" to all members of a channel.
- Export the calendar as an .ics file, or subscribe in Google Calendar.
See "Using the Kanban board" for how the planner and board complement each other.
